Corrective Skin & Chemical Peels
Medical-grade treatments that address what daily skincare cannot reach — pigmentation, acne scarring, sun damage, and uneven texture. Real results that compound over time.
Start Your Skin JourneyCorrective skin care is a long game.
Corrective skin treatments address the concerns that daily skincare can't reach — pigmentation, acne scarring, sun damage, and uneven texture. We use medical-grade peels and microneedling to trigger your skin's own renewal process for real, lasting results.
Unlike cosmetic facials, corrective treatments work at a deeper level — stimulating collagen production, accelerating cellular turnover, and progressively improving skin quality over a series of treatments. The results compound: each session builds on the last.
At HydraSpa, corrective skin treatments are performed by trained clinicians using medical-grade products and protocols. We assess your skin, discuss your goals, and design a treatment plan that addresses your specific concerns — not a generic protocol applied to every patient.
Triggering your skin's own renewal
- Chemical Peels — Controlled Exfoliation
- Medical-grade chemical peels use carefully selected acids (AHA, BHA, TCA, or combination formulas) to dissolve the bonds between dead skin cells and trigger accelerated cellular turnover. The result is improved texture, tone, and clarity — with depth and strength customized to your skin type and concern.
- Microneedling — Collagen Induction
- Controlled micro-channels created by fine needles trigger the skin's natural wound-healing response — stimulating fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin. The result is progressive improvement in texture, tone, pore size, and fine lines over a series of treatments.
- Microneedling with PRP — Accelerated Regeneration
- Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) drawn from your own blood is applied during microneedling, allowing growth factors to penetrate the micro-channels directly. This accelerates healing, deepens collagen stimulation, and enhances results — particularly effective for acne scarring and skin laxity.
What we offer
- Derma Perfect Peel
- A medical-grade chemical peel that targets pigmentation, fine lines, acne, and uneven skin tone. Customized to your skin type for a controlled, results-driven resurfacing experience with minimal downtime.
- Microneedling
- Controlled micro-channels trigger your skin's natural repair response — improving texture, tone, pore size, and fine lines over a series of treatments. Minimal downtime, maximum renewal.
- Microneedling with PRP
- Combines collagen induction therapy with your own platelet-rich plasma for accelerated healing, deeper collagen stimulation, and enhanced results — especially effective for acne scarring and skin laxity.
- Acne Scar Resurfacing

Common questions
- How many treatments will I need?
- Most corrective concerns respond best to a series of treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Mild pigmentation or texture concerns may show significant improvement in 2–3 sessions; deeper acne scarring or significant sun damage typically requires 4–6 sessions for optimal results. Your clinician will design a protocol based on your specific goals.
- What is the downtime for a chemical peel?
- Downtime depends on the peel depth. Superficial peels (light AHA/BHA) have minimal downtime — mild redness and flaking for 2–4 days. Medium-depth peels (TCA) involve more visible peeling for 5–7 days. We discuss downtime expectations thoroughly at your consultation and select the appropriate peel depth for your lifestyle and goals.
- Is microneedling painful?
- A topical numbing cream is applied 30–45 minutes before treatment, making the procedure well-tolerated for most patients. You may feel mild pressure or warmth during the treatment. Post-treatment, the skin typically appears red (similar to a mild sunburn) for 24–48 hours.
- Can I combine a chemical peel with microneedling?
- In some cases, yes — but not in the same session. Peels and microneedling are often alternated in a corrective series to address different layers of the skin and avoid over-treating. Your clinician will design a sequenced protocol that maximizes results safely.
- What is the difference between microneedling and microneedling with PRP?
- Standard microneedling uses the collagen induction response alone. Adding PRP (platelet-rich plasma drawn from your own blood) introduces concentrated growth factors directly into the micro-channels, accelerating healing and deepening the regenerative response. PRP is particularly beneficial for acne scarring, skin laxity, and patients seeking faster results.
- Can corrective treatments be combined with Botox or filler?
- Yes — corrective skin treatments address surface quality (texture, tone, pigmentation), while Botox and filler address volume and muscle movement. They work on different layers and are highly complementary. Your clinician will recommend appropriate sequencing to avoid treating compromised skin.
